I went to Grand Island to visit Melanie!!

No trip to the Buffalo are is complete without some Buffalo Chicken Wings! I thought they were wonderful - served with plenty of hot sauce, blue cheese and celery!

Here I am at Riverlea, a historical house on the southern end of Grand Island. The home was built as a farm house for Lewis F Allen, uncle of President Grover Clevelend. Grover Cleveland spent many of his childhood summers at the house. Today it is part of the NYS Parks System, and is a museum and home to the Grand Island Historical Society.

I went to Grand Island to visit Melanie!!

I took a boat ride in the Niagara River with Melanie and her mom and dad. Here's I am learning how to drive the boat, with some help from dad!

Here's I am with Melanie leaving the Erie Canal. The sign in the background points the way to Lake Erie and Buffalo.

The Erie Canal begins right off of the Niagara River. Here is I at the entrance to the canal. The Erie Canal was built in the early 1800's to connect Lake Erie to the Hudson River for cargo to be shipped, and at that time was an engineering marvel and was considered the "Eighth Wonder of the World". Today it is primarily used for recreational purposes.

Right away, I met Melanie's cat, KC. KC was pretty curious about the new houseguest, but warmed up quickly to me. Good thing, because KC and I had to play together during the day while Melanie went to work!

Here's I am hanging out in Melanie's herb garden, enjoying the sunshine and the wonderful breeze coming off of the Niagara River. Grand Island is an actual island in the Niagara River between Buffalo, NY and Niagara Falls, NY, and Melanie lives just a few houses away from the river.

I went to Granbury Texas to see Jordyn!!

On my last night with the Woodall's, I got to attend Nicole's Preschool graduation.


Nicole and I got to be very good friends during my visit and there were some tears when the goodbyes were said.
Jprdyn wanted to post....I had such a great time visiting with Tippy and sharing a week of my life with her. I can't wait to see what adventure she will have next!
I wonder where that will be!!

I went to Granbury Texas to see Jordyn!!

I went to work with Jordyn!!! Here I am sitting in Jordyn's desk chair in her classroom (yes, she knows it's a messy!).
I also helped Jordyn count how many more days were left until summer vacation. She even said to me..."Five more days? Tippy, that's too many!"

I had a great time visiting the Woodall household this past week. They were very busy getting ready for the last day of school and doing some last minute planning for the wedding.

I went to the wedding shower that Joseph's church threw for the happy couple. I ate a lot of cake and helped open presents.

After the shower, I was very tired and decided to take a nap with Jordyn's DD, Nicole.

I joined SEVERAL Sisters at the NYC reunion!!

Micki was nice enough to help me at bunch on Sunday morning. We are eating at Sarabeth's neat Central Park. Yummy Eggs Benidict!
Niki R, Michelle D, Susan A, Jen C, Micki S, Inez A, and Cassie G were all present at bunch that day. Don't we all look great in this picture? We had such a good time chatting one more time before everyone went home.

Cassie G, Inez A, Niki R and I went to Trump Towers after bunch on our way back to the hotel to get our bags.
I even got to met the Trumps!!
I had such a good time in NYC. I so look forward to my next journey. I wonder where it will be?!?!

I joined SEVERAL Sisters at the NYC reunion!!

So as we were walking to Central Park today, I saw the Scientology Celebrity Center. I was really hoping to have my picture taken with Tom and Katie, but no such luck!!

After walking through Central Park and going to the Metropolitian Museum of Art, Jen C, Micki S, inez A, Cassie G and Niki R all decided to get Mani-pedis. Isn't this the cutest picture??

We all had dinner at Pantis. This is a known spot for celebrity sightings, but again it didn't happen for me. Niki R was really happy to get some Creme Brulee. There were some great fries too!! Nice pink and green ajcket Cassie!!

After a funb filled night at a comedy show, Niki R, Inez A, Cassie G and I went to The View. This is a lounge that rotates at the top of the Marriot in Times Square. We sampled a cheese and dessert buffet and enjoyed the view. Sorry the picture below is so dark.

I rode the Metro North train from Waterbury, CT with Niki Rittenhouse so that I could attend the NYC Reunion. I am SOOOO excited to see so many sisters at once. Tonight we are going to have drinks at the hotel, go to a stakhouse for dinner and then head to the "Top of the Rock". I have never been to the top of Reckefeller Center.

Tippy went to Denmark To see Angel!!

For my last day in Denmark I offered to stay home with Angel and help her with some laundry and gardening. I had a few things in my suitcase that could stand a little washing too! One of the most fun things about travelling around the world to visit my sisters is that I can see how people actually live. It's nice to kick back and not have to play tourist every day.
I wonder where I will end up next??

The one thing I told Angel I had to do while in Denmark was eat an authentic cheese danish! Sadly she informed me there was no such thing, however there were lots of other yummy treats to be found at the bakery. Even the smallest town has a bakery which would be very bad for my figure if I lived here.

I couldn't decide which one looked the yummiest so we brought several home to try out. I think my favorite was one with raspberries and cream on the inside. Definitely much better than the not Danish, danishes we get in the US.

Tippy went to Denmark To see Angel!!

Hej from Denmark! Angel and her DH, Mark took me and showed me around different parts of Sealand even though she is very pregnant (as you can see in the picture)! This is the island they live on where Copenhagen is also located. We went to visit Helsingor which is in the north eastern part of the island. The land in the background is Sweden and there are ferries that go back and forth all day between the two countries. The sign says "no fishing" and the water looked a little too cold to go swimming. Oh well, I guess it's not so bad that I forgot to pack my bathing suit! It was still a very nice, though windy day.

Denmark seems to love statues. They are everywhere! This one of the Hydra was one of my favorites. So we had to get our picture made by it.

Next stop was Kronborg Castle. This is the castle that Shakespeare wrote about in his play Hamlet. Every summer different Shakespeare companies come and perform the play here. We decided to pose with some nice statues of Hamlet and Ophelia outside the castle.

Then one final wave goodbye to Pikes Peak (with Misha's daughter Sydney) and now I’s on my way! Where will I show up next??

Then we went to the Colorado Springs Panhellenic Luncheon. At the Luncheon, I got to see a special painting, entitled Panhellenic Garden. The painting was created by nationally known artist PJ Heylinger, a Delta Zeta alumna. PJ’s work has been featured on the cover of The LAMP of Delta Zeta. PJ is a member of the COS Alumna Chapter. That painting is property of the chapter and is proudly displayed at the annual Panhel Luncheon and at some COS alumna functions.

I also got to eat some great food!! All fo you DZs sure know how to eat.

The first day that I got to Colordao Springs, I needed a little rest. So we got some R &R and took the first couple days easy. But then, Misha took me to a Casino Night Party. We had a ton of fun!!
